Herbie Ronan #67 says "thanks?... At the recent Tandragee 100, Herbie Ronan had a bit of a spill. Herbie would like to express his great appreciation & heart felt thanks to all that came to his aid & helped after his crash…
In particular, Herbie would like to thank Yvonne Ward of the Injured Riders Fund for her time & kind attention. Some members of the MCUI Medical Team namely Richie Elliott, Dr John Hynes, Dr Fred McSorley and Dr Yodash, “these guy’s did such a fantastic & professional job in taking care of me. I reckon within minutes of going down, they were there. What they did was simply brilliant.”
“And a special thanks to Myles Byrne #32, who was kind enough to pull in during the race, and put his "First on Scene" medical training to great effect, while waiting on the medical team to arrive.” In his first week some visitors travelled up to the Royal Hospital in Belfast to see Herbie, “it was great to see those friendly faces, thanks to everyone for taking the time.”
Herbie says, “if anyone is pass’n by or on their way to or from the North West 200 feel free to drop in & say hello it’s always great to see some friendly & familiar faces.”
“Thanks again to all who helped”
Regards
