Riders Wishing to Race at both the Skerries 100 Road Races & Southern 100 International Road Races
With the Country Crest / Des D’Arcy Skerries 100 Road Races and the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company Southern 100 International Road Races being held over six consecutive days, Saturday and Sunday 7th & 8th July and Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 9th, 10th, 11th & 12th July, riders who are wanting to compete at both events have been contacting both race organisers, the Loughshinny Supporters Club and Southern 100 Racing, regarding travel arrangements from the Island of Ireland.
The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company have three sailings from Ireland over the period 8th – 10th July as follows: Sunday 8th July: Belfast 02.00 Douglas 06.45 Dublin 11.15 Douglas 14.10
Tuesday 10th July Belfast 10.45 Douglas 13.30
Regulations for the Southern 100 International Road Races allow riders who have been racing at the Skerries 100 Road Races and have raced on the Colas Billown Course previously to arrive on the Tuesday afternoon and practice to qualify on the Tuesday evening. However, Newcomers to the Southern 100 must be on the Isle of Man to practice on the Monday evening, 9th July.
